A book of prayers to the Holy Face of Jesus
We And Us
We and Us.
Avoid using the words “me,” “I” and “them!” It invites separation and Segregation! It invites vanity and ego! It creates thoughts of hierarchy and judgment!
Instead, consider the more frequent use of the words “we” and “us,” and “our!” These words are inviting, inclusive, and of gathering together! It invokes community, and family, and a unified group!
Think in terms of circles instead of lines,
Groups instead of parties!
We all bleed the same, regardless of race, religion or creed! We should all be united under one flag! One nation under God, with liberty and justice for All!
“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
He said to them, “When you pray, say:
“‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.”
Luke 11:1-4
